Additional Resources

Below are two additional resources that can be used for formative assessment halfway through the project. The sign-up sheet is for the teacher to keep track of which groups have selected which planet, and which student has taken responsibility for which role. Not only will this assist the teacher when providing feedback and grading, but it also helps the students commit to a role and begin working instead of spending too much time deciding on a position.

The information checklist should be used by the teacher near the end of the project work periods to let the students know what information can be found on the website, and what information is missing. Display this checklist on the board at the front of the class so that everyone can find their role and quickly see what information they need to add to their section of the website.
